Unusual viewpoint! When I first glanced at this, I immediately thought of two jet trails of planes flying high above the earth with one plane’s flight ending in an explosion!

It took a little while to sort out that it is a reflection of a cottonwood in fall color. But I’m still working on why the ocotillo stalks look like they do, ending in black.

Anyway, it’s a mysterious image and I like it just for that, that I can’t quite figure it out.

    Hugs,
    Flo

It must have been the colors that attracted you to this image. I can also see how the leading lines of the Ocotillo take ones eyes to the yellow reflection. Took me a while to see the image as you must have seen it. Love the mystery here.

Wonderfully surreal! “Having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream”, yet based in reality.

This is such a cool perception.

    Happy New Year, Craig!
