I want to say a big thank you to Jeff for not only allowing me to photograph him for a very long time but for playing music with me on the porch. Jeff is an amazing musician and one hell of a claw hammer banjo player. In this shot he’s playing my Martin D35 but mostly he played banjo. I had the great pleasure of accompanying him on two jam sessions where Jeff was playing jigs on the banjo that were either originals or extremely old time banjo music from the 1800′s – music that worked well with my bluegrass influenced, cross picking style of guitar playing.

I plan on writing more on my blog this year. I’ll be having more to say about the stories behind the pictures and a lot more to say about creativity in general. Thank you for being here!

“Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” Albert Einstein

Thanks Jeff for passing it on.

Awesome shot Craig, love the reflections, the balance of the windows etc. Terlingua looks like my kind of place. I may have to move there one day!
