Craig, I like the feeling of this image. Christopher looks to be a festive character. Seems his eyes are closed, and the smile on his face make me think he is really in that moment, grateful to be playing.

Craig, You are really getting good at these LB two exposure composites! I really like your low POV and the bronzy B&W you’ve used. Christopher has a wonderful and friendly appearance that draws me right into the session and that smile. I dare anyone to look at this image and not find themselves smiling. This image is very uplifting!!

    Hi Tom,

Thank you for being here. Hope this finds you doing very well!

Christopher has an unforgettable presence and is a great musician…I can’t imagine my times in Savannah without getting to hear him play the lute…..Craig

    Hi Murry,

Thank you for adding your own great energy to this corner of the web. Even though we have never met I can’t imagine anyone meeting you without smiling. Thank you for all of your heartfelt support. One of my biggest teachers, Issac Heyward, tells me that one of the best things we can do in life is share a heartfelt smile with everyone we meet. Heyward (which is what I call him) says when you live like that there are no strangers :) …..Craig

Hi, Craig – sorry I’m a little late getting here. This is a very heart-warming image. I love how the two most important aspects – Kohut’s face and his fingering hand – are in focus and the rest is blurred, but not so much as to render the rest of the subject unidentifiable. I also love the gentle toning that gives this image warmth. Looking at this images gives me the “warm fuzzies.” I love lutes and lute music. I read his website – he’s obviously a very talented person.

    Love,
    Flo

This is a really nice shot and I have to say that I do like what you did with the LB. His face reminded me of a photograph I took of him on The Next Step last September. Here he has a warm and inviting look on his face which is quite contrary to the one I got of him.
    Thanks.

Having the love of music that I do… I fell in love with this image the moment I saw it. The feeling is that nothing else matters in the world (for him), at that moment, except that instrument. My first thought was that that instrument “is” his heart.
