    The colors and composition (including placement of the cigarette, hand, picture, and eyes) are perfect design to my eye. The decision to crop the eyebrows is unique, and I like that. I also love your background as always. You give more thought to your blurred backgrounds than most photographers and it shows. The flowal dabs in the original and picture are also a perfect accent (retain the eye) and make it look painterly.

    Such a complex impromptu portrait.

    I love the idea of showing two views, or faces, of the subject in the same frame without compositing — for its immediacy and the way I feel the engagement of the photographer, and myself as a viewer.
