I just can’t let this go by without saying something. As Bob said, it is nice to see you posting again. Is this someone I know or is everyone down in Savannah looking the same to me? I do like the idea of shooting through the sign and there fore giving a nice sense of depth to the image. I have also had some good times at the Sparetime.
It’s people you and I know. If people are recognizable in my shots permission has been granted or implied to be granted. In other words I almost always ask first. This one is called “Cinema Verite” because even though the permission has been implied from earlier in the evening my friends don’t know I am shooting at this point……Craig
It’s great to see you back! I have missed seeing your posts. I’ve always looked forward to them and hope there are many more to come. They are always inspirational and instructive.
Hi, Craig! I just clicked on your blog for the first time in months – and am absolutely delighted to see that you have started posting again! I miss you and all the others in Savannah.
This looks like you may have been inside and were shooting through the bar’s or restaurant’s window. A very lovely candid.
The one way sign – the guy whose head it points to is smoking. My husband died of lung cancer from a life long habit of smoking. So for me this is a very powerful archetype! I hope it sends a message to smokers who may see this image.
Nice! Good to see that you have the camera in your hand.
